Boston Named Honorary NECC Player of the Week in Wake of Bombings
The City of Boston, including the Boston Police Department, emergency medical services and first responders, have been named an honorary "Player of the Week" by the New England Collegiate Conference.
Each Monday, the NECC recognizes outstanding performances by student-athletes of its member institutions from the week's athletic events. The tremendous effort by the Boston Police Department, emergency medical services and first responders as well as the residents of Boston and the surrounding communities deserved note.
