LONGMEADOW, Mass.-  Senior midfielder Jacqui Siddle (Palmer, Mass.) was a factor in all four of the Wildcats goals. Bay Path College defeated New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) rival Daniel Webster College 4-2 today at the Ryan Field in NCAA DIII women's soccer action.

Despite the Eagles outshooting the Wildcats 25 to 18, Bay Path managed to outscore their opponent with Daniel Webster only netting one goal. Bay Path even helped the Eagles cause with an own goal tallied in the 84th minute of play.

Wildcats leading scorer freshman forward Keelin Dougherty (Northfield, N.H.) struck first nailing a shot over junior keeper Amy Waller (Berlin, Mass.) head off a long pass made by Siddle in the 5th minute of play.

Bay Path would then notch two more goals in the next ten minutes. Freshman forward Melina Isdith  (Rego Park, N.Y.) would connect with a header off a corner kick by Siddle at 16:21 on the clock. This was Isdith's first collegiate goal.

Senior forward Kim Lemire (Merrimack, N.H.) would break up the Wildcats shut-out in the final minute of the first half off a give and go pass from sophomore defender Sarah Blanchard (Calgary, Alberta). Blanchard made a long drive up left side to tally the assist for the Eagles.

Both teams would play tough defense in the first 18 minutes of play in the second half. Siddle would finally connect for a goal at 62:30 on the clock after taking advantage of a blocked shot by Dougherty.

The Wildcats' created hardship for their team by handing the Eagles an own goal in the last six minutes when the backline tried to clear the ball. Unfortunately for junior goalie Janise Shabazz (New Castle, Del.) the Eagles would be awarded the goal.
