LONGMEADOW, Mass. – Senior forward Joanna Feliciano (Springfield, Mass.) earned her first hat-trick of her four year career and managed to add one more goal to the tally for four total topping all performers on the day leading the Wildcats to a 8-0 sweep of the Falcons of Fisher College today in NCAA DIII women’s soccer.
LONGMEADOW, MASS. – Senior forward Joanna Feliciano (Springfield, Mass.) propelled the Wildcats scoring both the first and the game winning shot in a 2-1 double overtime victory against the Trailblazers of MCLA today at Ryan field in NCAA Division III women’s soccer action. Bay Path advances to a 4-1 overall record while MCLA falls to 1-5 on the season.
LONGMEADOW, MASS. - Freshman midfielder Heaven Rodriguez (New Britain, Conn.) led the way for the Wildcats in their 6-0 shut-out of the Beavers of the City College of New York. Rodriguez scored the first goal at 29:55 on a drive up from midfield; this goal would prove to be the eventual game-winner. Bay Path improves to 3-1 on the season, while City College of New York falls to 2-3 on the year.
EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. – The Bay Path University volleyball team closed out the 2018 regular season with a 3-0 setback to Southern Vermont College in New England Collegiate Conference action Wednesday evening. Bay Path (7-13 overall, 3-6 NECC) was led by freshman Lydia Clifford (Coventry, R.I.) who recorded a 12-kill, 12-dig double-double, while posting a solid .273 attack percentage, Clifford, who led all players on both teams in kills, committed just three attack errors in 33 total attempts.Wildcat senior Joanne Nazario (Springfield, Mass.) led all players with 12 digs, while freshman teammates Shanikqua Thompson (Hamden, Conn.) and Jessica Warren (Becket, Mass.) helped pace the offense with six kills and five kills, respectively. Senior Lexi Cears (Agawam, Mass.) dished out 21 assists. Senior Taylor Heinbokel (Agawam, Mass.) tied for the match-high with two total blocks, while chipping in one kill and one assist.
LONGMEADOW, Mass. - Four different Wildcats score to defeat the Mariners of Mitchell College in their final home stand today while honoring the seniors today at Ryan Field in a New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women’s soccer match. Sophomore forward Jennifer Wilson (Tolland, Conn.) tallied her first collegiate hat-trick helping launch the Wildcats to a victory. All four seniors goalkeeper/midfielder Shayenne Gonzalez (Enfield, Conn.), midfielder Sam Drapinski (Malden, Mass.), midfielder Megan Mackie (Kaiserslautern, Germany) and forward Jai Ruiz (Hadley, Mass.) each started and contributed in today’s win. Bay Path also honored the two graduating Mitchell seniors goalkeeper Drew Johndrow (Killingly, Conn.) and midfielder Jacquelyn White (Danville, Vt.).

Lesley managed to hold onto their shut-out over Bay Path 7-0. Senior midfielder Jordan Mitchell (Sachse, Tex.) scored the first goal of the game and the eventual game winner at 14:02 on the clock off a cross from senior forward Xaelel Allen Caballero (Henrietta, N.Y.).

LONGMEADOW, Mass.- Bay Path’s junior goalkeeper Caitlyn Esposito (East Haven, Conn.) earned her first shut-out on the season helping the Wildcats to a 4-to-0 victory over NCAA III regional opponent the Badgers of Northern Vermont-Johnson State. Esposito faced eleven shots, eight on goal, with eight saves for the contest. Senior forward Jai Ruiz (Hadley, Mass.) led her team with one goal and two assists for the contest.

Bay Path holds Pink Out Game
LONGMEADOW, Mass. – Senior forward Brie Voight (Springfield, Mass.) came in clutch for the Blazers scoring both goals including the game winner during the second sudden death overtime period finding the back of the net in 102nd minute of play breaking up the tie taking the win 2-1 over the host Wildcats of Bay Path University. Despite the heartbreaker, the Wildcats’ junior forward Jailinne Ruiz (Hadley, Mass.) scored at the end of the first breaking up the shut-out. Bay Path held their annual Pink Out game helping raise awareness and money supporting National Breast Cancer Awareness month.

LONGMEADOW, Mass. – Jailinne Ruiz (Hadley, Mass.) scored the final four goals of the match and added an assist as Bay Path University extended its unbeaten streak to seven straight matches with a 5-2 victory over visiting Massachusetts Maritime Academy in non-conference women’s soccer action Tuesday afternoon at Ryan Field. In addition to ranking second in all of NCAA Division III with 19 goals on the season, Ruiz’ assist made it a career-high nine-point match for the talented junior. With two assists on the day, Megan Mackie moved into a tie for the national lead in NCAA Division III with 11 helpers.
LONGMEADOW, Mass.- Senior forward Elena Helming (Maplewood, N.J.) led the way for Bay Path scoring a hat-trick in the first thirty minutes of play leading the “Maroon” Wildcats to a 7-0 shut-out of New England Collegiate Conference opponents the “Blue and Gold” Wildcats of Wheelock College. Bay Path is now 5-2-1 on the season and 3-0-0 in the NECC, while Wheelock falls to 1-7-0 on the year and 0-3-0 in conference play.
LONGMEADOW, Mass.- Junior forward Jai Ruiz (Hadley, Mass.) came out ready to battle scoring a hat-trick in the first three minutes of play leading the Wildcats of Bay Path. She added a fourth goal in the seventh minute before Head Coach Jamey Mercer gave her a much deserved break. Mercer would clear his bench giving ample playing time to all of his eligible student-athletes in an 11-0 shut-out of the Gators of Pine Manor today at Ryan Field in NCAA Division III regional women’s soccer action.
LONGMEADOW, Mass.- Junior forward Megan Mackie (APO, AE) led the way for the Wildcats scoring one goal and three assists enroute to a 4-2 victory over Fisher College today in their home opener at Ryan field in NCAA DIII women's soccer action.
Mackie started the ball rolling for bay Path netting the first goal off a pass from junior forward Jai Ruiz (Hadley, Mass.) at 22 minutes on the clock.
Fisher would answer the Wildcats at 39:00 minutes off a made penalty kick by senior midfielder Holly Lesperance (Litchfield, N.H.). The score would remain knotted 1-1 heading into the half-time break.
