Bay Path Starts Season 2-0
Bay Path College opened
its season with wins over Becker College 8-1 in game 1.
Jess Nizinski (west Springfield, MA) pitched a complete game
striking out 4 and scattering 5 hits. She also had 2
rbi's. Offensively, Freshman, Ashley Provost, (Ludlow,
MA) collected 3 hits and Meaghan Whitcomb had 4
rbi's.
In game 2 Bay Path
defeated U-Mass at Dartmouth 4-0. Provost continued her
magic by hurling a 3 hit shutout and gaining her 1st
collegiate win while striking out 5. Sarah Gates led the
"Wildcats" with 2 hits.
Bay Path continues its
action on Tuesday with a 9:30 game vs.Philadelphia Biblical College
and an 11:30 game vs. Baptist Bible College.
