Katie Jones is beginning her third year as the new full-time head coach of the field hockey team. 

Coach Jones is a 2008 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University (OWU) with a B. A. in Exercise and Sports Science and a 2010 graduate of Smith College with a M. S. in Exercise and Sport Studies.  Before coming to Bay Path College she coached in a variety of capacities at the elite, club, and high school level.  Jones has played elite field hockey for the United States Mid-West High Performance Center and internationally in Sydney's competitive "Metro Comp."  While at OWU, Jones was a senior captain and four-year starter for the field hockey team.  She was twice recognized as a NFHCA Regional All-American, four times as a member of the All-North Coast Athletic Conference Team, and four times as a member of the NFHCA Academic All-America Team.  In addition, Jones received many accolades from OWU including being selected as a recipient of the Athletic Department's "Top 5" award, as a member of the Dale J. Bruce Sports Honor Society, and as one of the few recipients in her graduating class of the Meek Leadership Award.
