Rice's single contributed to the scoreline, while a wild pitch allowed another run to cross the plate, pushing the lead to 9-1.The third inning saw another offensive surge from Waynesburg, adding seven more runs. Game 2 Recap: Wilson Triumphs Over Bay Path in a High-Scoring Showdown

In a thrilling matchup, Wilson College secured a 9-4 victory over Bay Path University on March 4, 2025. The game, which lasted just under two hours, was a display of strategic plays and solid performances from both teams.

Wilson presented an unstoppable offense, accumulating 13 hits throughout the game, compared to Bay Path's five. The action began in the second inning when Wilson's S. Hartle drove in the first run with a single up the middle. The third inning saw Wilson extend their lead significantly. K. Keller's single brought in another run, followed by a wild pitch that allowed E. Randalls to score. C. Magers then delivered a critical two-RBI single, making the score 5-0.

Bay Path struggled to respond until the sixth inning, when M. Vera reached on a fielder's choice, allowing Morrison to score their first run. However, Wilson quickly countered in the seventh inning, with C. Magers and S. Hartle adding two more runs to their tally, extending their lead to 9-1.

In the bottom of the seventh, Bay Path mounted a late rally. M. Tessmer and Sunderland combined to hit in three runs, narrowing the gap to 9-4, but it was not enough to overcome Wilson's substantial lead.
