We are pleased to congratulate graduate student Ansley Morrison on being selected as our Student Athlete of the Week!

Ansley, serving as a first-time captain for Bay Path Softball, wears #17 and is an outfielder and first baseman. This past week, they posted a .267 batting average, recording four hits, two RBIs, and five runs scored. Over the course of the season, Ansley has accumulated 15 hits across 19 games, along with six RBIs.

Beyond their contributions at the plate, Ansley has demonstrated exceptional defensive skills. Throughout the season, they have recorded 17 putouts and three assists, consistently making challenging plays appear effortless. Their commitment to excellence on the field is truly commendable.

In addition to their athletic achievements, Ansley is dedicated to their academic and professional pursuits. Currently in their first semester of graduate school, they also work with residents in a senior living facility, providing compassionate care to individuals with dementia. Outside of school, work, and softball, Ansley enjoys spending time with friends, crocheting, and hiking with their dog.

As a team captain, Ansley leads with a strong voice, unwavering positivity, and a dedication to fostering team spirit. Their leadership and commitment to the program will be greatly missed next year.
