Bay Path Sweeps Lesley with 17-8 win

Bay Path used a relentless, 17-hit attack and took full advantage of six Lesley errors to pull away for a 17–8 win Friday afternoon at Papasodora Field in Revere, Massachusetts.

The contest was competitive early and featured multiple momentum swings before Bay Path's decisive six-run sixth inning broke it open.

Bay Path struck first in the top of the first when Madison Tessmer singled up the middle to drive in Caroline Austin for a 1–0 lead. Lesley answered immediately in the bottom half, manufacturing two runs on RBI groundouts by Eleni Vrahatis and Shae Thomas to go up 2–1.
