The Bay Path University Softball Team held its Annual Team Awards Program.  Recognition for National and Team Awards were presented to team members during the program.

 

 

Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society will recognize the Senior Class of 2026- 

 

Senior Softball Student-athletes- Caroline Austin, Madison Tessmer, Alyssa Kreischer, Grace Ramsey

Junior Softball Student-athletes- Madison Sunderland & Jenna Boudreau

 

Chi Alpha Sigma is the only nonprofit honor society to recognize college student-athletes who excel both on and off

 the field of competition. There are over 350 active chapters representing all levels of collegiate athletics. 

Chi Alpha Sigma recognizes undergraduate college student-athletes who participate in a sport at the varsity intercollegiate level, achieve junior academic standing or higher after their fifth full time semester, and earn a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average.

These students will be presented with a graduation cord before graduation to be worn in recognition of this academic honor.

Present their graduation cords to: Madison Tessmer, Alyssa Kreischer, Caroline Austin and Grace Ramsey

2nd Best 4 year record of wins -72 (record is 73)

#1 -Team Season Batting Average (.349)

#1- Team Season Slugging PCT. (.496)

#1- 21 Team Home Runs (8 different Players hit them)

#1- Team Fielding PCT. (.951)

#1- Team ERA (4.93)

Four Pitchers all had at least 4 wins each

14 Players with 12 or more hits

10 Players with 10 or more walks

15 Players with 7 or more runs scored

12 Players with 9 or more Runs batted In

14 Players Hit .300 or better for Batting Average

Top 3 in Fielding Percentage

Top 5 in fewest Errors

Top 2 in Double plays turned

 

Pitching:

Top 10 in ERA

Top 4 in K's

 

Base Running:

26 Stolen bases compared to 9 last year

 

Top 4 in fan attendance
